<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner which realizes reduction in cost for assembly by reducing man hour for the assembly and miniaturization of a main body. SOLUTION: A rib 5 is held upright on a back cabinet 2 so as to compart one side where a cross flow fan 11 and an evaporator 13 are arranged and the other side where electric parts such as a power supply circuit board 21 and a control circuit board 22 are arranged. Therefore, though the electric parts are directly installed on the back cabinet 2, drain water generated inside the main body of the indoor unit can be prevented from splashing over the electric parts. Thus, an electrical component box which has been required up to now becomes unnecessary, and man-hour for the assembly of the main body of the indoor unit is reduced, thus the cost for the assembly of the main body can be reduced.</p> |
