<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange fixing structure for connecting a synthetic resin pipe such as a polyethylene pipe, capable of easily and strongly fixing the flange with high sealing performance by only fastening bolts, and simplifying construction on a piping site. SOLUTION: The inner circumferential edge of a connecting flange 2 is integrally projectingly formed with a taper tube part 9 whose peripheral face is formed in tapered-off shape such that the tip of the taper tube part 9 can be inserted in an opening end edge of the synthetic resin pipe 1, a rigid ring 4 is loosely fitted on the periphery of the opening end edge of the synthetic resin pipe 1, and the inner circumferences of fastening rings 5a, 5b each divided in at least two are provided with engagement members 6a, 6b formed with sawtooth claws 18 engaging with the peripheral face of the synthetic resin pipe 1. By fastening the fastening rings 5a, 5b to the connecting flange 2 by the bolts 7a-7d, a diameter of the opening end edge of the synthetic resin pipe 1 is enlarged by insertion of the taper tube part 9, and the peripheral face of the opening end edge is closely contacted to the inner circumferential face of the rigid ring 4.</p> |
