<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a smoothing operation by controlling the forming of primary and secondary latent images in one pixel in terms of an image forming apparatus using a face light emission laser array. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus using the face light emission laser array comprises a means for varying the emission intensity of each chip by a unit of pixel and a means for controlling the emission time period, thereby controlling the forming of primary and secondary latent images in one pixel.</p> |
