PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for blow molding capable of molding an inner rib so as not to generate a thin-walled part in a parison on the protruded base end side thereof, and a blow molding method using the blow mold. SOLUTION: The mold for blow molding is constituted of a split mold comprising one mold 1 and other mold 2. The other mold 2 is equipped with a freely advancing and retreating slide core 7 for protruding a part of the resin wall of the other half body of a hollow double wall structure so as to bring the same into contact with the resin wall of one half body after mold clamping. Vacuum means 8 and 8 for sucking the part for protruding the slide core 7 of the parison 5 to hold the same to a cavity 4 are provided to the approach region of the slide core 7. The approach part of the slide core 7 of the parison 5 is sucked and held to the cavity 4 by the vacuum means 8 and 8 to advance the slide core 7 and a pressure fluid is introduced into the parison after the slide core 7 retreats to perform blow molding and both side surfaces of the protruded part 12 of the parison 5 are mutually pressed to mold the integrally fused inner rib. |
