HEAT-RESISTANT BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant board which has no possibility of impairing a kitchen table or the like with an edge wound part and exerts an efficient heat-insulating effect. SOLUTION: The heat-resistant board 13 is constituted of a surface sheet 14 shaped like a rectangular parallelepiped and opened downward and a sheet- like cushioning material 20 fitted to the lower side of the surface sheet 14. The surface sheet 14 is constituted of a molded aluminum foil 15 and the outer peripheral part of the aluminum foil 15 is bent downward so that a flat edge wound part 24 is formed. The cushioning material 20 is constituted mainly of corrugated paper 17 and formed to have a flat part 22 of a reduced thickness in the outer peripheral end thereof. The dimension B from the surface of the aluminum foil 15 to the lowermost part of the flat edge wound part 24 is set to be less than the dimension A corresponding to the thickness of the aluminum foil 15 and that of the central part of the cushioning material 20.
