PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method of the concentration of a sulfuric acid in an acid cleaning bath for measuring the concentration of a sulfuric acid in an acid cleaning bath for acid-cleaning a steel band in a sulfuric acid by throwing a fixed amount of iron- masking agent into a sample that is sampled from the acid cleaning bath and then precipitating iron. SOLUTION: The method for measuring concentration in a sulfuric acid in an acid cleaning bath comprises a means for obtaining the relationship between the iron concentration in the acid cleaning liquid and an error to the actual concentration of a sulfuric acid in the measurement value of the concentration of a sulfuric acid that is measured by depositing iron by throwing the fixed amount of iron masking agent as a regression line and for storing it in a storage means, a means for sampling the specimen of two, same acid washing liquids from the acid cleaning bath, a means for measuring the concentration of iron in one of the sampled specimens, a means for throwing the fixed amount of iron masking agent into the other sampled specimen for neutralization titlation to measure the concentration of the sulfuric acid, and a means for correcting the value of the measured concentration of the sulfuric acid from the measurement value of the iron concentration based on the regression expression between the concentration of iron stored at the storage means and the error in the measurement value of the concentration of the sulfuric acid.
