PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilot type selector valve with a valve position detecting switch capable of detecting the valve position of the pilot type selector valve up to three positions regardless of the pressure and flow of a fluid in the miniaturized valve position detecting switch for the pilot type selector valve. SOLUTION: This pilot type selector valve 1 with the valve position detecting switch is provided with an operator valve for controlling pilot signal pressure, a main valve element 3 driven by the pilot signal pressure, and the valve position detecting switch 2 for detecting the position of the main valve element 3. The valve position detecting switch 2 is provided with a permanent magnet 5 provided at the end part center of a piston 4 jointed to the main valve element 3; a magnetic sensor 7 for detecting the magnetic change generated by the movement of the permanent magnet 5; and a switch circuit 25 for outputting a valve position detection signal on the basis of the detection signal of the magnetic sensor 7. The permanent magnet 5, the magnetic sensor 7 and the switch circuit 25 are mounted in the selector valve 1.
