HIGHLY REFLECTIVE COATING MATERIAL AND COATED METAL PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reflective coating material which can produce a reflector capable of improving the efficiency of a lighting instrument, and a coated metal plate. SOLUTION: This coating material contains, based on the total solids, (1) 3-70 mass% of titania as a white pigment and (2) 0.05-20 mass% of one or more fluorescent pigments selected from fluorescent pigments having an emission spectrum peak at 480-620 nm and fluorescent pigments having an excitation spectrum peak at 420-450 nm. A coated metal plate obtained by applying the coating material on a metal plate, exhibits a high reflectance near 555 nm, a peak of visibility with human eyes.
