PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent biodegradable film or sheet formed by using a polyolefinic resin having biodegradable property, suitable for burying in ground or throwing in a compost facility on completion of its life for use and being degraded there and changed to a harmless byproduct. SOLUTION: This biodegradable film or sheet is obtained by molding a composition obtained by adding and blending each of a thermoplastic polymer component, a direct biodegradable component, an oxidizable component, a transition metal component and a non-metallic stabilizing component to the polyolefinic resin.
