PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide fork elevating device capable of smoothly elevating a slide fork even when a carriage is strained or warped due to an affection from a travelling road surface. SOLUTION: Four elevating levers 21 supported so as to allow a free end of each lever 21 to elevate by spacing it out in a horizontal direction is provided on the upper side of the carriage. Each lever 21 is synchronously driven by an actuator 23 through a synchronizing means 22. The free end of each lever 21 is slidably connected to a slide fork 1 via a sliding mechanism 24. A vertical axial guide 32 supported by the fork 1 and a roller 31 rotatably supported by the carriage and guided by the guide 32 are provided.
