PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce a rotating component of a stream right near an outer circumferential face of a bearing cap 34, miniaturize the cap 34, and eliminate the need for positioning the cap 34 and a stator blade 31c1. SOLUTION: The water jet propeller is provided with a duct 31 forming a passage, an impeller 32 arranged in the duct 31, a bearing part 33 of the impeller 32 provided in the duct 31, and the cap 34 sealing a rear end of the bearing part 33. A stream lining groove 34a is formed in the outer circumferential face of the cap 34. The stator blade 31c1 is formed facing the cap 34 in an opposing part to the cap 34 in an inner circumferential face of the duct 31.
