PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and efficiently fill a coil-shaped long pipe with urethane foam. SOLUTION: A long pipe 1 is wound around a core drum 5 capable of being rotated at a high speed in a coil form [Fig. 1 (a)]. An injection pipe 2 is inserted in the lower end of the pipe 1 and a proper amount of a urethane raw liquid is injected in the pipe 1 [Fig. 1 (b)] and, after the lower end of the pipe 1 is hermetically closed by a plug element 6, the core drum 5 is rotated at a high speed [Fig. 1 (c)]. The injected urethane raw liquid is foamed and expanded while moved upwardly through the pipe 1 by centrifugal force and the pipe 1 is finally filled with urethane foam up to the upper end of the pipe 1. |
