PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistant steel, in which the life to fracture and fracture ductility are significantly improved, by means of preventing a creep void from growing. SOLUTION: The heat resistant austenitic stainless steel includes boron nitride precipitated without segregating sulfur on the surface of creep void, and includes sulfur of 0.003 wt.% or less and sulfide-forming elements, as a chemical composition.
