PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint hardware consisting of a connecting insertion section having mounting holes inserted into insertion holes formed in horizontal members and a connecting plate section having a mounting hole inserted into a slit section formed in a vertical member when the vertical member such as a strut, a column or the like is connected between both up and down horizontal members. SOLUTION: For a building connecting both up and down horizontal members of a building having a wooden framework structure to the vertical member with the joint hardware, the connecting insertion section of the joint hardware consisting of the connecting insertion section and the connecting plate section is inserted in the insertion holes formed in the horizontal members, and further, the slit section formed in the end section of the vertical member is fitted in the connecting plate section of the joint hardware, and the horizontal members are connected to the vertical member with the joint hardware.
