PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative member installing structure capable of improving a quality feeling by properly positioning a second decorative member on a first decorative member. SOLUTION: This structure has a base material 3, the first decorative member 1 fitted and fixed to the base material 3, and the second decorative member 2 fitted and fixed to the base material 3 adjacently to the first decorative member 1, and forms a level difference part 9 toward the base material 3 side in a second decorative member 2 side edge part 1a of the first decorative member 1, and allows an end part 2a of the second decorative member 2 to abut to the level difference part 9 so as to cover the tip of the edge part 1a. The first decorative member 1 and the second decorative member 2 have respectively locking means 7 and 8 for engaging with locking holes 5 and 6 formed in the base material 3. An extension part 4 is arranged toward a part between the reverse of the second decorative member 2 and the base material 3 from the first decorative member 1. An inserting hole 14 is formed in the extension part 4 for inserting a base part 8A of the locking means 8 of the second decorative member 2. The base part 8A is allowed to abut to the opening edge 14a of the inserting hole 14 so that the second decorative member 2 is positioned on the first decorative member 1.
