PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance information processing apparatus which can miniaturize a total structure and can realize a superior display quality and a superior printing quality. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus is provided with a liquid crystal display panel 1 having an image display part to one primary face, and a thermal head 7 arranged to the other primary face side of the panel 1 and having many heating elements 8 set to an upper face. Heating elements 8 of the thermal head 7 are selectively made to heat on the basis of information displayed to the liquid crystal display panel 1, thereby forming prints to a thermal recording medium transferred between the other primary face of the liquid crystal display panel 1 and the thermal head 7. A platen sheet 6 is attached to the other primary face of the liquid crystal display panel 1, which is formed of a rubber and/or a synthetic resin having a Shore hardness A of 30 to 80 and a thermal conductivity of 0.1 W/m.K-0.5 W/m.K and to which the heating elements 8 of the thermal head 7 are pressed at a printing time.
