COMPOSITION FOR HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL UNDERCOATING LAYER AND HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material which has a high dynamic color developing sensitivity by using an environment-friendly material without imparting an adverse influence to an environment without using a foamable plastic filler likely to generate a carbonic acid gas or an organic gas and excellent head matchability and which can record a uniform and clear image having a high density. SOLUTION: A composition for a heat-sensitive recording material undercoating layer comprises an inorganic filler (A-1) and/or an organic filler (A-2) having a moisture surface coverage of 0.1 to 2 wt.% at 20 deg.C and a relative humidity of 80%, a water soluble polymer (B-1) and/or a hydrophobic polymer emulsion (B-2) as indispensable ingredient. The heat-sensitive recording material comprises a heat-sensitive color developing layer for coloring the composition by a heat on a support between the support and the color developing layer. A printed matter uses the recording material.
