PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage the whole of storage position by optionally designating the storage position at a storage place for articles and accurately moving a conveying device such as a crane and a fork lift toward this position. SOLUTION: The storage position optionally designated in the storage place for the articles is addressed and this addressed storage position is managed by a computer. Conveying of the conveying device such as a crane toward a specific storage position can be carried out while a position of the conveying device such as a crane is measured by a distance measuring device utilizing a laser beam or the like.
