PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable damping device of simple structure and low cost capable of installing a protective cover to a specified position, and preventing deflection of the protective cover due to vibration of a cable. SOLUTION: This cable damping device 30 for a cable 3 is provided with a cable flange 31, a rubber damper 32 as a damping member, an aligning flange part 33, and a fixing tube (bracket) 34. The fixing tube (bracket) 34 is provided with flange parts 34c and 34d at both ends of length of a semi-cylindrical member 34b, and it is provided with a protruding part (flange part) 34h as a stopper for the protective cover of a circular form continuously protruding in a circumferential direction on an outer surface at a middle part of the length. |
