PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined cooking appliance, in which even chawan-mushi (a hot-steamed hotchpotch) and the like can be automatically suitably cooked. SOLUTION: A user of the cooking appliance selects a menu item in S1 by touching a start button. In S2, weight M of a to-be-cooked material is measured by a weight sensor, and time t for heating is obtained from the expression t=aM+b. The material is heated at 120 deg.C by a microwave oven and a gas oven used in combination. When an elapse of the time t is recognized by the judgement in S3, burning is continued singly with a burner in S4 to heat singly by the gas-oven at 120 deg.C. When an elapse of 15 min is recognized by judgement in S5, the operation of the burner is shut off to stop the cooking.
