PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform alignment, to accurately apply a sealing agent and to efficiently perform a series of treatment until sealing agent curing treatment. SOLUTION: A holding part 210 for holding a plurality of liquid crystal panels 310 is moved to the position of a sealing agent applying device 110 by using a movable conveying mechanism 500 and then the sealing agent is applied to liquid crystal injection ports 311 while a sealing agent applying part 111 is being moved in the direction along a side of the liquid crystal panels 310 at a prescribed interval. After the sealing agent is applied, the holding part 210 is conveyed to the position of a UV irradiation part 410 by the conveying mechanism 500 while holding the liquid crystal panels 310 to perform UV treatment.
