PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber fixing tool that facilitates airtight fixing. SOLUTION: The fixing tool is provided successively with a supporting base plate having a V groove for holding the tip end of an optical fiber and with a fixing base plate having a metallic layer for airtight fixing of the optical fiber. Thus, the tip end of the optical fiber is fixed in the V groove, and also the base end of the optical fiber is airtightly fixed with solder on the metallic layer of the fixing base plate.
