PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure dryness of steam by simple constitution. SOLUTION: Plural through holes 24 are provided in one end of a sampling sub-piping 21A as a communication part penetrated through a wall, in this dryness measuring instrument 1 of the present invention provided with the sampling sub-piping 21A of which the one end is inserted into a main piping 22 fed with the steam, and of which the fluid taking-in port 23 formed in a tip face of the one end is directed to an upstream, so as to calculate the dryness of the steam based on a water quantity in a fluid sampled via the sub-piping 21A.
