PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance concentration measuring method using a small measurement device and a simple measurement procedure. SOLUTION: This method is used for measuring the concentration of a viscous substance solution flowing in a pipeline. Pressure loss generated in flowing of the substance solution in the pipeline is measured, and the viscous substance solution concentration is calculated from the measured pressure loss, known pipe diameter and length, a coefficient relating to both end shapes of the pipe, a flow rate of the substance solution, the average flowing velocity of the substance solution, the temperature of the substance solution, and the temperature coefficient of the substance solution.
