PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rust by arranging a grease sump facing an outer periphery of a rod and forming an oil film on the outer peripheral surface of the rod and improve durability. SOLUTION: The rod 26 is inserted into a tube 22 of a hydraulic cylinder 21 via a rod guide 24. A buffer ring 33 and packing 34 which seal compressed oil in an oil chamber 29 against the outside are arranged on an inner peripheral side of the rod guide 24. A circular grease sump 41 is partitioned by means of outer peripheral faces of a wiper seal 36, a grease sump ring 37, and the rod 26, at an end face 24A side of the rod guide 24, and grease is supplied from an automatic grease supplying unit 10 of a construction machine via a grease supplying passage 43. Thus, an oil film 42A provided by grease 42 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the rod 26, and rust and the like is prevented.
