PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide active ingredients which are extracted from Bidens parviflora Willd., a plant in Asteraceae, and are useful as antiallergic and anti-inflammatory agents, further provide a composition including the active ingredients, particularly an antiallergic agent and an anti-inflammatory agent. SOLUTION: The active ingredients are novel cinnamic acid derivatives represented by chemical formulas (1)-(3), (5) and (6) disclosed in the claims. The composition includes the novel cinnamic acid derivatives cited above or another cinnamic acid derivative given in the chemical formula (4) disclosed in the claims, particularly an allergic agent and an anti-inflammatory agent.
