SOLUTION: In the automatic operating system of vehicle where a vehicle is operated automatically according to a table vehicle speed 21, accelerated at a predetermined time before starting speed change according to a pre-acceleration control target vehicle speed indicative of a specified speed increase and then accelerated at a predetermined time after ending speed change according to a post-acceleration control target vehicle speed indicative of a specified speed increase, acceleration 24 at the time of pre- acceleration is increased according to a linear function by increasing the pre- acceleration control target vehicle speed 22 according to a quadratic function with time and acceleration 25 at the time of post-acceleration is decreased according to a linear function by increasing the post-acceleration control target vehicle speed 23 according to a quadratic function.
