PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption quantity of drive energy by properly and easily adjusting balance pressure in a short time corresponding to a change in the weight of a slide member by adjusting the balance pressure so as to minimize a load current value by measuring the load current valve of an electromotor. SOLUTION: The molding machine has a moving member movable forwardly and rearwardly in a vertical direction, a drive mechanism driven by the electromotor to forwardly and rearwardly moving the moving member in the vertical direction, a balance mechanism for supporting the weight of the moving member by the pressure of a pressurized fluid and a control unit for measuring the load current value of the electromotor to adjust the pressure of the pressurized fluid so as to minimize the drive energy of the electromotor.
