PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device capable of reducing the burden on its bearing part by preventing the piston part from rotating. SOLUTION: The piston part 60 of this cylinder device 60 has a section with a contour in such a shape that four convex curved lines are tied to one another. The piston part 60 is composed of a base 61 and forefront 62 to be coupled together and a piston ring 63 fitted with a certain clearance in a ring groove 60a formed at the peripheries of the base 61 and forefront 62 in such a condition they are coupled together. The base 61 is furnished with a threaded hole 61b opened in the center of its oversurface 61a and a pair of engaging grooves 61c left open at the oversurface 61a in straight form, while the forefront 62 is furnished with a step 62a formed at its undersurface, a stepped hole 62b formed in the center penetrating, and a pair of engaging ribs 62c formed on the undersurface protrusively and extending straight.
