PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for ink-jet recording that can achieve high- accurate and stable recording on the target substance with high stability as a jetting composition and high clogging resistance and can increase expression resolution by minimizing the dot sizes. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording composition comprises fine particles of cellulose that has the average polymerization degree (DP) of <=100, the fraction of the cellulose I type crystal component is <=0.1, the fraction of the cellulose II type crystal component is <=0.4 and the average size of the cellulose particles of <=2 μm, a liquid dispersant and a functional compound and has the maximum ηmax is represented by ηmax =1×10<3> mPa.s, measured with prescribed procedures. |
