PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming an image and an image forming apparatus capable of readily representing not only a hue represented by an inkjet method but also a specific color which is not represented by an inkjet ink. SOLUTION: This method comprises an ink image forming process for forming an ink image on an image receptive face of an image receptive sheet 11 by an inkjet ink, and a latent image forming process for forming a latent image consisting of a latent image forming liquid including a transferring acceleration material or an adhesive material on a transferring layer of a transferring sheet 5 having the transferring layer. This method further comprises an image developing process wherein the image receptive face of the image receptive sheet 11 having the latent image formed thereon is brought into contact with the surface of the transferring layer of the transferring sheet 5 to be pressed and the transferring layer is transferred to a latent image section so that the transferring image is formed on the image receptive face. This image forming apparatus uses the above method. |
