<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of conventional, inefficient, and disliked measuring works measuring a disk abrasion amount by manually pushing a shaft in a plug attached to an external wall of a structure of a wet disk brake into the structure inside and by measuring the movement amount A of the piston, which requires two persons, or a worker entering between the wheels of a vehicle and manually pushing the shaft and a worker operating a brake pedal in a driver's seat of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The piston movement sensor for the wet disk brake is characterized in that a rod 2, an elastic body 4, and a load detector 5 are stored in a case 3 having a seal mechanism 6 projecting outside a brake cover 7, one end of the rod 2 is applied to the end face of a piston 1, the other end is applied to elastic body 4 so as to constantly follow the movement amount S of the piston 1, a change in a force caused by the extension of the elastic body 4 is loaded to the load detector 5 and converted into an electric signal, and its change enables to measure the movement amount S of the piston 1.</p> |
