<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular travel control device allowing control without giving a sense of unease to a driver, independently of the conditions of a vehicle travelling in the next lane. SOLUTION: Step S4578 determines whether or not the average relative speed of a vehicle in a passing lane is lower than a first predetermined value (a negative value) Vr1. When determining to be lower than Vr1, it proceeds to Step S4580 which sets the upper limit of a target acceleration as ATup1. Step S4584 determines whether the relative speed of a next lane vehicle travelling in a travel lane, calculated by Step S4572, is lower than a second predetermined value Vr2 or not. When determining to be lower than Vr2, it proceeds to Step S4580 which sets the upper limit of the target acceleration as ATup1.</p> |
