<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for a hydrothermal reaction to which various counter measures can be taken before a safety valve is actuated even if the pressure in the reaction vessel elevates extraordinary in a high temperature and high pressure hydrothermal reaction. SOLUTION: This device for the hydrothermal reaction, having a reaction vessel 4 for decomposing an organic material by the hydrothermal reaction in the presence of a high temperature and high pressure fluid, and a safety valve 5 installed on the reaction vessel 4 is provided by installing a pressure- controlling valve 6 which is actuated at a slightly lower pressure than a set pressure of the safety valve 5 in parallel to the line of the safety valve 5.</p> |
