PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg type mobile robot capable of moving naturally by a movable leg and a head and expressing the feelings such as joy and anger in addition to the movements such as walking, sitting, and sleeping. SOLUTION: This leg type mobile robot 1 is constituted using a friendly four foot walking animal as a model to create and propose new pleasure and life style in pursuit of coexistence of a person with the robot. By installing rearing type control software in the robot using a memory stick as a medium, it is possible to raise the robot, and by installing character type control software in the robot, it is possible to enjoy various characters to select a way of enjoying.
