PURPOSE: A rotational resonance type compressor assembly is provided to easily control the amount of refrigerant circulation through the control of piston stroke, while achieving improved operating stability. CONSTITUTION: A rotational resonance type compressor assembly comprises a compressor unit, a motor unit and a resonance unit. The compressor unit includes a cylinder; a piston reciprocating within the cylinder; and a connecting rod connected to the piston. The motor unit includes a stator(32) having a pair of stator teeth parts(321) wound with a coil(322); a rotor(34) mounted to be rotatable within the stator, and which has a pair of rotor teeth parts(341) corresponding to the stator teeth parts, wherein the rotor reciprocates between both stator teeth parts when the stator teeth parts are synchronized with the power frequency and alternately excited; and a rotation shaft(36) press fit into the center of the rotor, and which has an end connected to the connecting rod of the compressor unit. The resonance unit includes a pair of torsion parts coupled to the rotation shaft; a pair of torsion springs constituted by arm parts extended from the torsion parts and fixed to a frame, wherein the torsion springs are connected to the rotation shaft and apply rotating forces to the rotation shaft; and the frame for supporting the torsion springs.
