PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet, which is excellent in ink absorbency, transparency at non-printing parts and printed parts, lustrous properties and moisture resistance, and, in which a high density is obtained and the development of banding is decreased. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet has, on one side of a non-water absorbable support, at least two ink accepting layers, each having a void including fine inorganic particles having an average particle diameter of 10 to 200 nm, and a hydrophilic binder. The average particle diameter of the fine inorganic particles included in the upper ink accepting layer is set to be smaller than that in the lower ink accepting layer. |
