PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably close a drum with a lid, to enable a remote operation of opening/closing, to prevent a specific substance from entering or being discharged, and to seal the drum with higher strength. SOLUTION: A lid 2 for closing an opening 1a of a drum 1 comprises an attachment plate 3 welded to an inner peripheral surface of the drum 1, and a lid body 4 to be fixed thereto by a remote operation. The attachment plate 3 is equipped with guide pins 5 and 6 and a boss 8 including a screw hole 8a at its protruding end. A flange 9 of the attachment plate 3 is extended downwardly while being inclined toward the inner peripheral surface of the drum 1 and is designed to be fitted in tight contact with the inner peripheral surface of the drum 1. The lid body 4 is equipped with a handle 10 for a remote operation tool, a filter 13, guide holes 12, and a bolt 11 which is prevented from coming out. The lid body 4 is positioned with the attachment plate 3 to have the guide pins 5 and 6 aligned with the guide holes 12, and the bolt 11 is screwed with the screw hole 8a of the boss 8, whereby the lid body 4 can be fixed to the attachment plate 3. |
