PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for adjusting a direction of a light source element wherein a plurality of light source elements can be accurately fixed to a multi-light source such that image variation is not generated in an image recorder having the multi-light source and efficient exposing can be executed in the case where the plurality of light source elements (LEDs or the like) are provided to form the multi-light source as a light source for the image recorder. SOLUTION: After a holder 100 to be a base of an LED chip 10 is fixed to a fixing table 1, an LED lamp 200 is inserted thereinto. Each lamp 200 is placed by using an LED holder 3 and a fixing plate 4 such that the light goes toward an entrance pupil 5a at the center of a target 5. The image is captured by a CCD camera 7 disposed at the lower face of a target base 6 and the captured image is indicated on a monitor 9. The direction of the LED lamp 200 is adjusted to be fixed based on the confirmation of the captured image.
