PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an air conditioner capable of lighting LEDs of different kinds with the same brightness while contriving the reduction of a cost, the improvement of reliability and the contraction of actual area of installation by the cutting-down of the number of parts. SOLUTION: A current restricting resistance 24 is connected in series for the purpose of the conduction of a current, different from the value of current conducted to flow through other LEDs 4-10, to flow through the LED 11 of a different kind from the others among the LEDs 8-11 connected so that the lighting is controlled by respective source side switching element 3 and the sink side switching elements 16-19 while the current restricting resistance 24 is set so as to have a value that the brightness upon lighting the LED 11 becomes same as the brightness upon lighting the LEDs 4-10.
