PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition for coating fabrics which has high saturatability through materials to be cleaned and can reduce the amount of a detergent to be used. SOLUTION: The detergent composition for the coating fabrics contains 20-60 mass% surface active agent, has a viscosity at 20 deg.C of 100-1,000 mPa.s and increases the viscosity at 20 deg.C by >=5% when 10 pts.mass water are added to 100 pts.mass total composition.
