PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a densified sintered-member in a short time. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method comprises overlaying an exothermic material layer 11 which generates heat by a chemical reaction, on a material layer to be sintered 12, and pressurizing the overlaid material layer 12 and the exothermic material layer 11 while electrifying them, to sinter the material layer 12 with the electrification, the heat generated by the chemical reaction in the exothermic material layer 11 and the pressure. The pressurization for the overlaid material layer to be sintered 12 and the exothermic material layer 11 while electrifying them, causes heat generation by a chemical reaction in the exothermic material layer 11 and by resistance heat due to electrification to the material layer 12 and the exothermic material layer 11, and shortens the time for sintering the material layer 12.
