PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous adhesive composition that can tightly bond a waterproof sheet to a cement material, and has excellent adhesion durability against water, and an adhered article therewith. SOLUTION: This aqueous adhesive composition comprises, as main components, a chloroprene latex obtained by polymerizing 100 parts by mass of chloroprene and 0.1-5 parts by mass of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid in the presence of 0.5-5 parts by mass of polyvinyl alcohol, a terpene-phenol resin, a rosin derivative and a metal oxide. The adhered article is formed by applying the aqueous adhesive to a cement material, and laminating a waterproof sheet thereon.
