PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an oil stain on the copper plate after rolling, while maintaining BTA concentration constant in the rolling oil. SOLUTION: A BTA crystallized cloth bag 6 is dipped inside the rolling oil (step 203), and is heated or cooled (step 204) so that the rolling oil temperature complies with the prescribed temperature by adjusting the scope of the prescribed BTA concentration, and the rolling oil is agitated (step 205), and after maintaining the same state for a definite period of time (step 206), BTA velocity of dissolution is calculated from a consumption speed of BTA crystal and BTA concentration is measured (step 207). In the case that BTA concentration remains within the prescribed scope (step 208), the rolling oil is fed to the rolling roll 2 (step 209), and is agitated (step 205), and in the case that BTA concentration is less than the prescribed scope (step 208), the rolling temperature is increased (step 212) and the step 205 is executed. In the case that BTA concentration is over the prescribed scope (step 208), the rolling oil temperature is lowered (step 221), and the step 205 is executed.
