PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an ornament with which the ornament can be manufactured at the lowest cost possible and in an improved productivity, in the method for manufacturing the ornament which is required for a custom-made manufacture. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional computer-aided design (CAD) data is compiled for the objective ornament, a sliced data is compiled based on the three- dimensional CAD data, a wax pattern of the ornament is formed by using an ink-jet type three-dimensional molding machine 10 which performs three- dimensional molding based on the sliced data, and the ornament is cast with a lost wax method by using the wax pattern. A parts-combination type ornament which is structured so as to be detachably assembled with at least two parts is preferable as the ornament, especially a finger ring is preferable. Besides, the method is preferable for manufacturing the finger ring which is structured so as to be detachably assembled with a plurality of rings, or the finger ring which has parts for ornament embedded in through-holes which are formed on a display portion of the ring body.
