PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation apparatus in which a foil-shaped object and a brittle object stuck to the foil-shaped object can be separated easily. SOLUTION: This separation apparatus is provided with an outer cylinder 101, a wire net-made inner cylinder 102 supported on the inside of the cylinder 101 to be rotated, scraping-up fins 103 erected on the inside surface of the cylinder 102, a supply duct 110 connected to one end face side of the cylinder 102 so that the outside of the cylinder 101 communicates with the inside of the cylinder 102, a discharge duct 111 connected to the other end face side of the cylinder 102 so that the outside of the cylinder 101 communicates with the inside of the cylinder 102, a nozzle pipe 112 which is disposed inside the cylinder 102 along the axial direction of the cylinder 102 and has a plurality of nozzle holes 112a faced to the axial direction of the cylinder 102 on the outer peripheral surface, an air compressor for supplying air 4 to the pipe 112 and an inner cylinder rotating means for driving reinforcing circular plates 104, a driving shaft 106, driving wheels 107 and the like for rotating the cylinder 102.
