PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatically operated liquid coating material drying apparatus by which a high quality coating film is obtained. SOLUTION: A high frequency heating coil 27 and guide rollers 18, 26 for positioning a guide rail 1 are mounted and the output to the high frequency heating coil 27 is controlled based on outside air temperature, that is the temperature of a material to be coated before heating. Then, the high frequency heating is able to be applied for the heat drying of a small-but long-sized material on which the liquid coating material is applied and the passing speed of the material to be coated is improved.
