PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability by efficiently operating a batch throw-in device. SOLUTION: The batch throw-in device stores a plurality of medals which are collectively thrown-in from a medal throw-in port and performs an operation to take-in the stored medals. When the value of a credit number in a slot machine exceeds a reference value which is predetermined as the value close to the settable maximum value, the batch throw-in device takes in the medals in a state where an operation speed is lowered compared with a normal state. When the value of the credit number which is added and updated by taking-in the medals becomes the maximum value and becomes the upper limit of the credit being storable in the slot machine, the medal taking-in operation is stopped in the batch throw-in device.
