PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately and efficiently obtain powder of a skin part and a xylem of a trunk material of bamboo. SOLUTION: A surface of the trunk material 1 of the bamboo which is air dried and is cut to prescribed length in advance is ground by a sand paper 12 to obtain powder of the skin part 1A. The trunk material 2 of the bamboo from which the skin is removed, is processed by a cutter device 20 to planar bamboo materials 3 which are divided to a plurality of parts at nearly equal internals in a peripheral direction. The planar bamboo material 3 is crushed by a first crusher 30, a second crusher 40 and a third crusher 50 finally to powder 6 of about 0.7 mm by precession action utilizing a second screen plate 51 from a first chip pieces 4 of about 5 mm square, for example, via finner second chip pieces 5 of about 2 mm square obtained by precession action utilizing a first screen plate 41. The bamboo material introduced in the first crusher 30 is automatically transported to a hopper 60 finally in a state of the powder 6 by utilizing a suction device 70.
