PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a automatic drug supply system capable of automatically selecting and distributing the drug according to a patient. SOLUTION: The automatic drug supply system comprises a drug container receiving unit 5 for inputting a drug container 4 on a conveyor 2 for transferring the container 4 as a drug automatically supplying unit in a drug container transfer unit 1 in which the conveyor 2 is installed, a drug supplying unit 6 for selectively supplying the drug prescribed for the patient from many types of drugs, a printer 7 for printing a drug name card in which a name of the drug supplied from the unit 6, the patient's name or the like to be administered with the drug, and a controller 9 for controlling the unit 5, the unit 6 and the printer 7. The system further comprises a personal computer 10 connected to the controller 9 to control the supplying unit on line, a drug database 11 for obtaining drug data such as a drug inventory state or the like, and an electronic patient's chart database 12 for obtaining electronic patient's chart data describing a prescription connected thereto. |
